Telephone interview
Total English will provide you with a time and date for your telephone interview. The interview usually takes place during the morning or early afternoon due to the time difference between the UK and Korea.
The director will ask why you would like to teach English to young learners in Korea and what you know about the Korea. However, the main purpose of the interview is to see if you are cheerful and enthusiastic and will be able to set a friendly environment for the academy's students. Academies tend not to employ applicants with strong regional accents so we urge our applicants to speak slowly and clearly during the interview.
After the telephone interview we will contact you to let you know the outcome of your application. If you have been successful, we will then need to arrange for your visa to be processed. Good luck with your application!
